For children aged 1-3 years with family
Can you decide your moment of birth? If so, what triggers it all – movement, sound, a feeling? Does it become too cramped, or too boring? KOKONG invites us into this existential moment, this transition, and the desire to explore the world outside the belly.
KOKONG is a performance driven forward by presence, imagination, and associations, in a world not depending on finding logical explanations through cause and effect. We find ourselves in a naive here and now perspective, in a poetic and abstract reality.
KOKONG is a cross-genre performance for children aged 1-3, with a juggler, a dancer, and a musician. In the interaction between performers and audience, a poetic, funny and surprising performance is created about being born, about discovering, about being in awe of everything new.
