A duet between the two dancers Gustavo Monteiro and Francesca Perrucci

This work in progress was developed from a collaboration between Monteiro, Perrucci and the film director João Pascoal, all three of them interested in the theme “love relationship”. The project is not limited to the relationship between man and woman; it also explores how this relationship mirrors society. This idea arose as a result of Monteiro’s and Perrucci’s status as a couple, as dancers and choreographers.

How can you talk about love and be socially critical at the same time? How can the cliché of duets between man and woman be overcome?

Studio sharing: Thursday 28. January at 5pm at DansiTs.
