HARMONIOUS MAN

Based on humanity & focus on an emotion and state of mind. Guide to rediscover involuntary movements and forgotten motivations. This practice go into the «dignity of the human body» and «explore and express through the movements». The workshop explore on possibilities, adaptation, recovery, extension of you thoughts and emotion. This progress allowing participants to rethink about physical experience and exploration. The goal is recycling of «awareness of the senses» that both physical  and involuntary movement.

About Won Won Myeong

Won Won Myeong born in Seoul (1976, South Korea) and is based in Sweden. He has been working  as performer, mentor and researcher in various projects in different areas around the world. He graduated at the Seoul Institution of the Arts (1996-1998) & Korean National University of Arts (1998-2002) in South Korea where he took the time into dance & contacted various dance forms and researched various materials and methods on his own.

Since 2001 he has been performing with Sung Soo Ahn Pick up Group (Seoul_KOR), Bill Coleman (Toronto_CAN), Carolyn Carlson (Paris, France), Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima vez (Brussels_BEL), Marie Chouinard (Montreal_CAN), Tero Saarinen Company (Helsinki_FIN) among others.

He has also directed and organized the project Expedition contemporary/ performing arts. Following he created he project [seed] in 2006, collaborating with flemish director Tone Brulin (Antwerpen_BEL) premiered in Bujumbura (Brundi, 2007).

He was also invited as extra performer for Mia Habib «A song to” (Oslo_NOR) at Bastard Festival in Trondheim 2017.

As mentor he has been teaching the workshop Harmonious Man based on humanity, emotion and mental states. He has been developing this methodological proposals through his life as dancer, researching various knowledges.
