This 90-minute class is focused on conditioning practices for professional level dancers. Drawing on yoga, Pilates, Alexander Technique and Muscle and Bone practices, the class attends to alignment, stamina, and integration of movement, from a somatic perspective. It is intended that individuals can find a deeper understanding of their bodies through a practice that emphasises curiosity and calmness. Comfortable dance clothes can be worn, with warm items for the beginning and end of class when there is less movement and a focus on internal reflection.
