The workshop proposal departs from the theme, methodology and strategies within the methodology Daniel uses in his artistic process. Together we will generate a space where it is possible to play and explore both individually and collectively through dance, talks, writing.

Om Daniel Mariblanca

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Daniel began his professional dance career immediately after graduating from the L’Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. After 15+ years of dancing professionally around Europe, Daniel Mariblanca moved to Norway to join Carte Blanche The Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance.

Since 2016, Daniel has received two nominations from Carte Blanche for the Pernilleprisen Audience Award for 71BODIES 1DANCE, garnered the award for Artist of the Year from Bergen Kommune in 2019, and also recently received BTs Critics’ Award in Pernilleprisen for In First Person in 2021.
