AVLYST: Multiplié goes Urban!

I anledning Multiplié dansefestival og Dansens Dager feirer vi hip hop- og vogue-kulturen som arenaer for mangfold og inkludering!

Det internasjonale breakdance-crewet ILL- Abilities er årets festivalkunstnere, og gjester Trondheim i en lengre periode i forbindelse med festivalen. Det hele kulminerer i en dag med workshops, jams, battles og fest for unge og voksne på Rosendal Teater.

Cassandra Moldenhauer, pionér for vogue- og ballroom miljøet i Norge, gjester også dagen for å holde workshops i Vogue, og organisere et eget “Open Practice Vogue Ball” for alle som ønsker å delta.

Hip-hop, vogue- og ballroom står med andre ord i sentrum for en dag viet til å synliggjøre disse kulturene som arena for mangfold i alder, kjønnsuttrykk, funksjonsvariasjoner og kropper.

14.30 – 15.00: Påmelding battles + matpause
15.00 – 16.00: Jamsession
16.00 – 17.00: Allstyle battle pre-selections
17.00 – 18.00: Jamsession
18.00 – 19.00: Semifinaler + finaler
21.00: Open Practice Vogue Ball med Kiki House of Meraki
22.00: Dance party – alkoholfritt

I tillegg vil Cassandra Moldenhauer holde en workshop i Vogue experienced fredag 24. april!

Saturday 25th at Rosendal Teater

For Multiplié dance festival and the International Dance Day, we celebrate hip hop- and vogue-culture as arenas for diversity and inclusion!

The international breakdance crew ILL- Abilities is this years festival artists, and will be in Trondheim for an extended period in connection with the festival. This culminates in a full day of workshops, jams, battles and parties for kids and grown-ups at Rosendal Teater.

Cassandra Moldenhauer, pioneer of the vogue and ballroom community in Norway, will also attend the festival to give Vogue workshops and organize an Open Practice Vogue Ball  for anyone who wants to participate.

Hip-hop, vogue and ballroom are in focus on a day devoted to highlighting these cultures as arenas for diversity in age, gender expression, functional variations and bodies.
