Week 17 & 18 / 2023

During the residency associated with the project “Exploded view”, Eivind Seljeseth will take his first steps in the process towards a new piece that will premiere in autumn 2023. The project is a continuation of Seljeseth’s investigations into collective loneliness and parallel perceptions of reality. In collaboration with dancer Mathias Stoltenberg, the residence will be used to create text and dance.

About the artist

Eivind Seljeseth works in dance and choreography. He is based in Oslo, and works nationally and internationally. His artistic practice ranges from performing in the works of others, making his own work to collaborative creations. His choreographic interest is expansive and can be materialized within various formats. His main artistic goal is a specific “poetification” of spaces, places and situations through bodily, technical, virtual and conceptual interventions. Eivind Seljeseth is educated at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO, MA in choreography) and Skolen for Samtidsdans, Oslo (now Høyskolen for dansekunst).
