Oil-Dino-Du

by Roza Moshtaghi and Ronak Moshtaghi

In a landscape of soft, oil-painted flowers and whimsical shapes, children and adults alike are invited into a playful performance filled with dance, wonder, and discovery.

In Oil-Dino-Du, the audience enters a universe where dance and visual expression take center stage. Three performers move through a landscape of oily flowers and forms, a performance that balances fantasy and reality. Here, oil functions as a portal between past and present – a ghostly inheritance from those who came before us. Through dance and interaction, new images constantly emerge in the landscape.

Before the performance, the audience is invited to co-create the scenography by building a landscape of soft, magnetic forms. As the dance begins, the installation transforms into a living stage, where the figures become the story’s main characters.

Welcome to a playful performance where imagination is given free rein.

Winner of the Hedda Award for Best Children’s Performance 🎉

“The children become co-creators of the scenography in this playful, well-choreographed performance. The adult performers are sly and cheeky, and the relationship between children and adults is turned upside down — to the children’s gleeful fright and great excitement.»
