Contemporary barre med Kine Kvarme Tørring

Teaches a two-part class. The first part consists of a contemporary barre class with an emphasis on classical technique in a slightly “freer” form.

The second part consists of sequences and choreography in the center. The focus will be on technique, strength, and flow.

Bio:

Kine K. Tørring graduated from the Norwegian Ballet Academy in 2007 with a specialization in jazz and pedagogy. She also holds a master’s degree in children’s culture and arts education. As a performing artist, she is currently working on her self-produced children’s show Skynd deg!. Among other things, she has appeared in all of Kompani Trondheim’s productions, TSO Musikkteater’s productions of The Czardas Princess and Carmen, as well as OperaTrøndelag’s Olav Engelbrektsson.

She has periodically toured with Stjerne as part of the Cultural School Bag program and has worked as a dancer and choreographer for Rabarbrateateret, West End Live, and others. She is a faculty member in the dance program at Inderøy High School and works with “Den kulturelle skolesekken” in Trondheim.
