A sound piece that is available for audience from Wednesday until Saturday, between 5 – 10 pm.
Rehearsal Radio is a sound installation and pop-up radio station that presents dance through listening rather than viewing. By tuning in, you can follow rehearsals, conversations, and working processes, and gain insight into how choreography is developed. Audio description is not added afterwards, but is part of the artistic practice.
The radio broadcasts recordings made during the festival, creating an evolving audio archive of the works and their processes. By scanning a QR code, you can access a temporary website and listen on your own device; either in the space or as you move through the theatre. The site includes recordings from participating artists, material from previous projects, and sound-based experiments and remixes.
You can also visit the installation on the mezzanine to listen on site and meet the team.
Rehearsal Radio is an ongoing research project exploring how dance can be experienced, documented, and shared through sound, and how listening can shift the way movement is understood.
The event is part of the Multiplié Dance Festival 2026 presented by DansiT
