Panser is a gathering and collision between four queer dance artists. The performance challenges the heterosexual man and looks at how he delimits and dictates our leeway and room for action as queer individuals. The heterosexual man is always to be considered a unit of measurement regarding our queerness.
Panser invites the audience into a dense and unpredictable pressure. They find themselves in a terrain where we try to peel off our forced shame and morality. With this temper and armored state we seek to confront our spectators with their expectations and fantasies of the male figure.
We are not seeking understanding or acceptance, in the same way that we do not want to please or satisfy. The audience is allowed into a territory that we have claimed, where our bodies are not subject to an alienating and restrictive logic.
