Sunday 26. January, 12:00 – Nordic Program
Sunday 26. January, 15:00 – Prize Ceremony of Minimalen Kortfilmfestival
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Multiplié Dance Film, and we’re celebrating with a special anniversary program featuring all previous winning films and two honorable mentions. This is a unique opportunity to relive the highlights from our dance short film since it became a competition in 2019.
Since its inception in 2015, DansiT has enjoyed a valuable collaboration with Minimalen Short Film Festival. Sharing a vision to challenge and enrich short film as an art form, we’ve spent the past decade together spotlighting unique voices and stories from the world of dance.
The competition is rooted in the Multiplié Dance Festival’s goal of exploring new and engaging expressions of dance art. In 2022, we expanded to include a Nordic program, highlighting the diversity among artists from Norway and the Nordic region.
This year’s competition received an impressive 305 submissions from around the world, carefully evaluated by an artistic committee composed of dance artists Gunhild Løhre, Sebastian Tjørstad, and Mathias Stoltenberg.
The best film in both the international and Nordic categories will be awarded by a professional jury, with a prize of €1000 in each category.
This year’s jury consists of: Silje Engeness (Festivaldirector in Kosmorama), Marie Rechsteiner (dance artist) og Tobias Liljedahl (visual artist).
Join us in celebrating 10 years of dance and short film!
