Audience seating: Each audience member is assigned a U-shaped seat, which will be their designated viewing area. The seat is not flexible, and participation requires the ability to sit independently, comfortably, and safely in this seating structure.
Music and lighting: Music will be played during parts of the performance, but no stage lighting is used. The performance is sensory-friendly. Due to its visual elements, it is not suitable for audience members with complete visual impairment.
Interaction: The performance is interactive and allows for dialogue with the performers.
Maximum number of participants: 7 audience members + companions per performance.
Companions: The role of the companion is crucial to ensuring the audience gets the most out of the performance. Companions will receive necessary information throughout, and it is possible to communicate with the performers during the show.
Shoes and outerwear: We kindly ask the audience to remove their shoes and outerwear before the performance begins. You may hang your coat and leave your shoes in the basement. A staffed cloakroom is available and will be locked during the performance.

Makker is an interactive dance performance developed for young people with various disabilities. It is specifically designed for the age group 13–18 but may also be suitable for children over 10 years old. The performance invites different forms of closeness, contact, and togetherness, with the overarching goal of creating a connection with each individual audience member through a dynamic interaction. Together, we can become something more and something different—both for ourselves and for each other.
In Makker, each audience member is assigned their own U-shaped seating area—a personal space, a designated spot—to sit in. This structure provides a stable and secure framework for the experience but requires that the audience member can sit independently and comfortably in it.
The audience has the opportunity to take part in different elements of the performance: the dancers perform, the audience is gently rocked, and together we build a labyrinth. Each experience is unique, fostering physical engagement and exploration in a safe environment. We create a space where bodies of all kinds can explore and navigate the “terrain” in their own way. Through humor and rhythm, the performance shifts in atmosphere and levels of closeness while the space gradually transforms.
