Discover the dancers as they move and dance between and around Kongens gate and Nordre gate, a fluid and dynamic jam where the city becomes the stage.
JAM is a pop-up performance where club and street dance meet public space. It challenges the boundaries between dance as an art form and social dance, adapting to the location and inviting the audience to participate or observe – a performance that includes and surprises everywhere!
JAM explores and challenges the boundaries between dance as an art form and social dance. The goal is to reach an audience who may not expect to see dance, thereby including more people in the dance community. The dancers adjust to how people use different public spaces and what vibes are present there, and the performance can be experienced up close or from a distance, for ten seconds or 45 minutes. People can watch from a distance or join in. In this way, JAM can be both a performance and – as the title shows – a jam.
