Festival Opening Party with Sidiki Camara, Solo Diarra og Mattis Kleppen

Multiplié dance festival invites you to the opening party!

After the performance of Jazz Ain’t Nothing but Soul by Tabanka Dance Ensemble, Sidiki Camara, Solo Diarra & Mattis Kleppen will play a concert at Rosendal Kafé.

Join us for a concert that blends West African rhythms with Norwegian and international jazz!

Sidiki Camara is a percussionist from Mali, who has been living in Norway since 2006. With a background in Mande music, he has brought West African rhythms into Norwegian and international jazz.

Solo Diarra is a musician from Burkina Faso, who continues the ancient traditions of the griot lineage through his music while also seeking to blend it with new musical expressions.

Mattis Kleppen is a Norwegian jazz musician, educated at the Jazzlinja at NTNU, and is central to Trondheim’s jazz and blues community.

The event is free and open to all.
