
Snædís Lilja Ingadottir will give a contemporary dance class. It will be mainly floorwork based with other contemporary based techniques involved.
The emphasis is on dancing and enjoying it, and finding the performance aspect of it.
Snædís Lilja Ingadóttir has a BA in contemporary dance from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and a BA-degree in acting from Rose Bruford College in London. Snædis has worked as a dancer and actress since 2009 with various choreographers and directors. Snædís was nominated for dancer of the year 2014 at Gríman the Icelandic theatre awards for her role in Farangur by Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir with the Iceland Dance company. And again in 2018
for her role in Crescendo by Katrín Gunnarsdóttir . Snædís is dancing in Vera and the water a dancepice for children by Tinna Grétarsdóttir, it was awarded the Gríma for children play of the year in 2016 and has been touring the world since. This last year she has premierd Dear human being by Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir, Crescendo by Katrín Gunnarsdóttir and working with Steinunn Ketilsdóttir in her work Expressions. She has also been teaching contemporary classes at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
