BASTARD SPESIAL! Simon Mayer (AT/BE) – Folk-Trance-Party Workshop

Within 1,5 hour you will explore and experiment with all kinds of dancefloorpractices, traditional folk dances, your voice, music, partymoves, shamanic rituals and our collective ecstatic body. No warm up needed. Just prepare to be on fire.

About Simon Mayer

Simon Mayer is a performer, choreographer and musician from Austria. He studied at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School, at the Performing Arts and Research Studios in Brussels (P.A.R.T.S.) and was a member of the Vienna State Opera Ballet.

Simon Mayer is searching for authenticity in shamanic rituals, in trance, in the repetitive traditions of folk culture, as well as in abstract, contemporary dance and experimental music.

Standard: 100 kr / free (DansiT-members)

Performance & Workshop: Show us your ticket to the Bastard performance of the artist who is giving the class, and enter the workshop for just 50kr. (not applicable on the Tuesday class).
